Smiling Floater

This little girl is mute, but one of the smartest I have ever met. She was moving around so fast in her tub, and understood everything.

This in on the Tonle Sap, a huge lake in the center of Cambodia. A world in itself, it actually provided for the Khmers incredible ability to build Angkor: a near infinite source of proteins.

On this lake, there are floating villages, that move as the lakes goes up and down. Kids get their own tub and use it as a boat to move around, paddling in front and using the turbulences created behind the motion to advance. Hard to describe and mesmerizing to watch. Also requires incredible balance.
